Connect an AI agent

An agent can create forms, paste working HTML into your site and read responses. You approve it in the browser and choose what it may do. Deleting responses is off unless you tick it, and you can disconnect it at any time under API keys.

Claude Code, Cursor and ChatGPT

Add formto's remote MCP server. The client opens formto in your browser to sign in and approve.

In Cursor and ChatGPT, add a remote MCP server or custom connector with the URL https://mcp.formto.io/mcp. The agent page lists every tool.

Scripts and other bots

Run npx -y https://formto.io/dl/cli-latest.tgz login, or create a token under API keys and give the copy block to your bot. It holds the token, the base URL and three lines on how to call the API. Tokens stop working after a long time unused and can be revoked at once.

What needs a person

Agents read submitted text as untrusted data. Two actions wait for you to confirm in the dashboard: sending responses to a host the workspace has not used before, and deleting responses.
